For use with children who can escape their child safety seat or with special health care needs.
The Chest Clip Guard can be opened using the plastic key provided.
In an emergency, any common key can open the Chest Clip Guard.
Installs on current child safety seat harness straps in place of the original chest clip.

NOTE:
The Chest Clip Guard can only be used on child safety seats that have a splitter plate on the harness.
Splitter plates allow the harness straps to be unhooked and the Chest Clip Guard to be installed to replace the standard chest clip.
If the child safety seat has a splitter plate on the harness, it will be found on the back of the car seat (see image).
